Moisture-Proof Protection in the Battery Production Process
Molds, metal shells and precision casings are critical components that directly determine product dimensional accuracy, appearance quality and service life. Moisture, humidity and condensation in the air can easily cause oxidation, rust, corrosion, surface peeling and even structural deformation, which not only shortens the service life of molds and shells, but also affects production stability and product consistency. Therefore, full-process moisture-proof protection is particularly important.
  • During storage, molds and shells should be placed in a constant-temperature and low-humidity warehouse with dehumidification equipment, keeping the environment dry and ventilated for a long time.

  • Before storage, carry out anti-rust and anti-oxidation treatment, and use anti-rust oil, moisture-proof film and vacuum sealing to form an effective isolation barrier against external moisture.

  • Place indicating silica gel in sealed packages and storage boxes. It can not only absorb residual moisture continuously, but also intuitively reflect the humidity state through color changes, making monitoring more convenient and efficient.

  • Use special moisture-proof shelves and pallets to avoid direct contact with the ground or walls, preventing moisture penetration and mold growth.

  • In the production and transfer process, avoid long-term exposure to high-humidity environments, and reduce the risk of moisture absorption and rust caused by temperature differences.

  • Establish regular inspection and maintenance mechanisms to check the humidity environment, packaging integrity and desiccant status, so as to ensure that molds and shells maintain good performance for a long time.

The application of scientific moisture-proof measures can effectively reduce corrosion and damage, extend the service life of molds and shells, improve production efficiency, and ensure stable quality of finished products.
